This 15-year-old semi-detached house was reimagined for a close-knit family with a collection of vintage Oriental furnishings. The owners envisioned a home that could accommodate lively gatherings for extended local and overseas family members, while still offering intimate spaces for the quiet enjoyment of teas and wines.
In response to the needs of the growing household, a substantial spatial reorganisation was undertaken alongside a careful refinement of architectural styling. The design balances the husband’s preference for a conventional home with the wife’s desire for a more contemporary and elegant expression—creating a setting that thoughtfully complements the family’s cherished vintage furniture collection.
